G:XL Participation Learning Cluster, 10th Feb 2012
If you're interested or involved in children and young people's participation, come and join the discussions to ensure the work and resources of G:XL's Voice and Influence - CYP Participation work stream are relevant to you and the children and young people’s voluntary and community sector (CYP VCS) organisations that you work with.
Increasing Participation
This G:XL Learning Cluster is a collaborative hub for discussing and developing participation practice across the West Midlands. We also have a new opportunity and are looking for champions to help us roll out our new minimum participation standards and improve participation for CYP and in the West Midlands CYP VCS.
Following the publication of G:up's Participation report and the setting up of the Learning Cluster, G:XL is helping to increase levels and quality of participation in the sector, with the Learning Cluster now looking to recruit Participation Champions, but we need your help!
Download a form to sign up as a champion and find out about the range of G:XL CYP Participation events throughout 2012 via: www.gup.org.uk/participation

About G:XL
G:up's three-year, Big Lottery-funded G:XL project was designed in partnership with over 40 organisations to increase infrastructure, capacity and voice in the West Midlands CYP VCS and there are plenty of opportunities to make your voice heard and shape its work: www.gup.org.uk/gxl
About G:XL Voice and Influence
G:XL's Voice and Influence work stream, aims to increase the influence CYP VCS organisations and their children and young people have on policy and practice, through improved infrastructure skills, knowledge and systems as well as outreach engagement of ‘hard to reach’ and ‘underrepresented’ groups to enable them to participate more fully.
