Searching for Models of Good Practice
Do you have an example of successful strategic engagement and influencing involving the children and young people's (CYP) voluntary and community sector (VCS)?
Is there a model in your area or experience which has worked really well or has not worked at all?
G:up is looking for both successful and unsuccessful examples of strategic engagement and influence, as well as barriers which prevent organisations from getting involved, which can be used as case studies.
These will inform a report including recommendations for the best approaches to 'democratic' representation and inclusion for the CYP VCS.
If you have a suitable case study or want to contribute, please contact Cath Errington on cath.errington@wayc.org.uk or 01926 450 156.
This is part of the Voice and Influence work stream in G:up's Big Lottery-funded G:XL project, designed in partnership with over 40 organisations to develop sector infrastructure and collaboration and increase voice and influence.
