brap's work is organised into four key areas. These areas are defined through our organisational values: Confidence; Fairness; Connectivity and Learning.
Our Approach
We work towards an inclusive and rights based approach to equality, one that recognises that we are all different, and because of this cannot easily fit ourselves into the current equality picture, which tends to see us as belonging to a particular group. We avoid an approach to equality that relies on promoting one groups needs over anothers, as we think that this more often restricts the progress of equality, rather than promotes it. Our approach, above all else, recognises the rights of people.
