Networking VCS organisations for childrfen and young people across Telford and Wrekin borough. The primary role of our Service is to create exciting learning opportunities for young people’s personal and social development, to raise aspirations and enable young people to achieve. We work with all young people between 11 and 20, with a priority given to those young people aged between 13 and 19. We complement the formal education offered through schools and colleges by providing opportunities designed to encourage and support young people to realise their full potential. This takes place through a range of planned, informal learning opportunities, in a range of settings. The Service delivers informal education as the primary method of youth work.
Other distinctive characteristics include a reliance on the voluntary and active involvement of young people in various activities to the preferences of young people.
