Training provider

• Offers friendship and informal support to parents with young children in Stoke-on-Trent so that every child can have a good start in life

• Offers home-visiting support to families under stress where there is at least one child under five years of age
• Runs daily Family Groups for parents and their children. The children are cared for in our OFSTED registered crèche by trained and qualified childcare workers.
• Believes that children need a happy and secure childhood and that parents play the key role in giving their children a good start in life and helping them achieve their potential
• Supports parents as they grow in confidence, works towards strengthening parents’ relationships with their children and encourages them to widen their links with the community.
• Wants to see a society in which every parent has the support they need to give their children the best possible start in life

We help to increase the confidence and independence of families by:

• Visiting families in their own homes to offer support, friendship and practical assistance
• Reassuring parents that their childcare problems are not unusual or unique
• Encouraging parents' strengths and emotional well-being for the ultimate benefit of their children
• Trying to get the fun back into family life
