Quality standards work stream
This work stream will map and collate information on quality standards, resources and good practice, and ensure that infrastructure organisations and their network members are trained, have access to and are using the self assessment toolkit, action planning and signposting service.

Overall Outcome:
By 2012, 100 VCS CYP organisations will work through an action plan, supported by new infrastructure skills and resources, to improve organisational and workforce standards for the benefit of young people. VCS organisations will develop new skills and greater influence on policies as a result.
Delivery Phases

Milestones:
Phase 1
Quality standards options and good practice will have been researched and evaluated; options, implications and support will have been promoted and made accessible across the region.
Phase 2
- Development of an accessible signposting service to enable VCS CYP organisations to address gaps in their organisation's infrastructure highlighted through the audit, toolkit and action plan.
- Each of the 14 LEAs will have one representative as a minimum that has been trained to support others to use the self assessment toolkit and signposting service.
Phase 3
A minimum of 100 completed self assessment toolkits and action plans (with phase 1 completed) will be received back
