Training Action Plan for West Midlands CYP VCS

The action plan develops the results and recommendations of the training needs audit report (which you can see here), and is designed to support the coordination of training and workforce development regionally and sub-regionally, enabling the CYP VCS to address gaps in training needs and provision and to implement change.

This action plan will:  

  • Identify actions which reflect the recommendations from the audit report
  • Suggest lead organisations
  • Identify timescales to address areas of need
  • Identify future aspirations, needs and solutions
  • Be reviewed on an annual basis by G:up    

WHO IS THIS ACTION PLAN FOR?

This action plan is designed for regional and sub-regional infrastructure organisations supporting the CYP VCS across the West Midlands region, we have identified many needs within the G:XL project’s training needs audit, which we have contextualised and considered in order to propose how these needs can be addressed.  We hope this will enable regional and sub-regional organisations/groups to take these forward.

 

WHY DO AN ACTION PLAN?

A regional and sub-regional action plan drawn from an annual training needs audit report, puts the CYP VCS in the West Midlands in a strong position when looking for funding or approaching collaboration as this demonstrates actions based on assessed need and not assumption and speculation. It also helps local VCS organisations to look at the wider regional picture whilst supporting local need.
